November 2007, two-day Beauty Instead of Ashes Conference held at Blackhawk Ministries. Held Friday evening and all day Saturday. Angie Moellering, Dr. Angela LaSalle, and Roxanne Sandul were the keynote speakers. Twenty workshops were presented, with attendees choosing 3 workshops to attend. Topics included:

Autumn 2005, held a day long Spiritual Wound Conference held at Avalon Missionary Church. Dr. Angela LaSalle was the keynote speaker. The conference provided women with two choices of four different workshops which included such topics as:

September 2003 and September 2004 Conferences held at Avalon Missionary Church, Mentoring Moms hosted an evening meeting which included women from area churches. The keynote speaker for both meetings was Dr. Angela LaSalle, the Mentoring Moms Medical Consultant.
We have baked cookies and taken them to Charis House. Charis House is an outreach of the Women and Children’s Division of Rescue Ministries, providing residential care for homeless women and children since 1980. Charis House is a place where women and children seeking shelter find hope for the future.
We have collected items for gift baskets and taken them to the women at Wings of Hope. Wings of Hope is a prison ministry that provides Christ-centered residency to newly released women, and to mentor and advocate for the residents. Their goal is to help women become productive citizens with a hope and a future, free of drugs and crime, and to provide an educational foundation Biblically with life skill principles and application.
